Rail Cart to Cenote Underwater Exploration

Has anyone tried the Carnival Excursion "Rail Cart to Cenote Underwater Exploration" or anything like it that might be offered by outside vendors? To me, this sounds like a very interesting (and get away from the pack) excursion.

 

If anyone has any knowledge of this excursion - or similar excursions - I'd love to hear about it!

Hi, I am taking the Carnival Ecstasy in March. I am interested in that excursion also. It sounds like it could be fun, but like you I have not heard anything about it. When do you go on your cruise?:confused:

Holiday this coming February. This looks like an intriguing expedition - and we may just take a chance on it regardless of the lack of responses here. We'll let you know how it goes.

Under "Cenote" in the progreso/merida thread ...about the 15th posting seemed to have mentioned something about the rail cart and cenote swim..if you havent already seen it that is ...:)
