I have a similar question, but in reverse.

 

We're flying in next Wednesday 9/3 for a three-night stay, before embarking on Saturday 9/6 on the PofAm. We'll have a rental car for the three days, and then on Saturday I'll be dropping off the wife and senior in-laws around 12pm-1pm at the port (I assume they can board around that time) and then I'll be heading back to the airport to drop off the car. Thus, I need to make my way from the airport back to the cruise terminal.

 

Is there an easier/cheaper way to do this than via taxi? I imagine a taxi would cost me $15 or something. It'll just be me, sans luggage, so I can definitely move swiftly through the airport to get to a shuttle bus or something.

We rented from Thrifty in HNL and they shuttled us to the cruise port for free (the entire family).
