sailorgirl Posted October 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2004 We're going on Sapphire Nov. 1st, PC dining, and like to dine around 7:30ish but we like to catch all the good shows. Are there two productions each evening? Any advice here on how to do both? Thanks, Carole
Genessa Posted October 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2004 I haven't been on the Sapphire specifically, but on the Princess ships I have been on, there are often two of many of the shows. Once in a while there will only be one. Check out your Patter. It will tell you if this is the only showing of a particular show and will usually tell you when it can be seen again if it is shown more than once. We usually eat at traditional, late seating and have never missed a show we wanted to catch.
catmand Posted October 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2004 Sailor.......................Genessa gave you the best adice, just check your patter everyday as you may find things are changing a little in what you may want/not want to do everyday. To just add a little from the Sapphire cruise of 10/2..................as far as I remember there were at least two days to see all of the big shows (that is a for sure) and also all of the comedians/jugglers/magicians/singers etc. The main times for the shows were either 8/8:15/8:30 with a repeat at 10/10:15/10:30..........they were followed a second night at 9:15pm, hope this helps. If you have anything more specific?
nycruise Posted October 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2004 Sailorgirle: Most evenings, the late shows on the 10/12 sailing of the Sapphire were at 10:00pm or 10:15pm. We had 8PM reservations and never had a problem making the late show. Dinner generally takes less than 90 minutes. You will have plenty of time to make the late show with more than an hour in between. Lot's going on in Club Fusion and the Explorer Lounge every evening after dinner, and of course there is always the casino. You're in for a great cruise. sailorgirl Posted October 25, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted October 25, 2004 Great! You all answered my question and concern that we might miss a show or two. I'll have to check in at roll call now. Carole
