Cotton Posted October 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2004 No trick. Wrap it well and put into your checked luggage...not your carry on. A coupla bottles of wine are allowed and can be taken in your carry on, but better put the booze in the other luggage.;)

Cotton Posted October 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2004 Sure - if you don't mind your booze tasting like wine. I think most folks just put it in the checked luggage tho. Think bubblewrap.

cruztime Posted October 25, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 25, 2004 We've been taking our own booze for years. I pour it into 24 oz plastic soda bottles, secure the lid with tape, bubble wrap them and put them in a heavy duty ziploc bag just in case there is a slight leak. Never had a problem. We also take extra bottles of wine in the checked luggage.
Momof2Boys Posted October 25, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 25, 2004 We carried some alcohol in our checked luggage. We bought some that were already in a plastic bottle; and for the ones that were in glass bottles, we just wrapped it VERY WELL in bubble wrap. We put all of it in large ziploc bags and packed it in the middle of the clothes. We didn't have a problem at all. Good Luck and have fun.
