Time Zone Question - Enchantment of the Seas

We are on the Enchantment 8/26/04. The Cruise411 website and the RCI website say that we are in port in Cozumel from 10:00 - 8:00. Is this Cozumel time (CST) or Ft. Lauderdale time (EST)? Thanks!

That is Ft. Lauderdale time or what is referred to as "ship's time" which stays on the clock from the port of embarkation.

Ok, let me make sure that I have it right...So we will be in port from 9:00 - 7:00 Cozumel time, right? It's the simple things that confuse me......

Correct. Some folks on our stop there (6 of them) must have been confused too. They missed the ship when it left!!! Ouch. We did the 4/8 - 4-12.

Don't forget to figure in Daylight Savings Time. Some places don't go on it so it makes everything another hour off. We will still be on DST when you sail in August.

 

I haven't ever exactly figured out how it works, but fortunately we will be changing back to Standard Time before we hit any ports.
