TP Early Disembarkation Time?

How early can we get off the TP on disembarkation day in Papeete? We would like to catch a 910A Moorea ferry - is that do-able? I assume that we would need to make on-board arrangements with Princess for our early departure request - correct? Thanks for your help. SeaFish

We just got back today-you can come and go all day from the ship. You do not need arragements. If you get transfers to the airport they start calling by colors and it begins at 7. If you store your day luggage in the Steak Restaurant you need to claim that by 8pm. We wanted to go to Moorea also but on SUnday there are only some schedule trips so make sure you dont miss the one you mentioned-if you do there are none until the early afternoon.

you should have no trouble catching a 9:10. The ferry terminals are next to the ship's dock, I think. Since the ship docks the night before, you should be able to get off anytime. Have a great trip!

laurieb -thank you for the info. We've done the Moorea ferry before but not with issues of getting off the ship early, luggage handling, post-cruise stay contact, etc. But - from your info & others it looks like this should be no problem. BTW - how early does Princess have luggage off the ship & stored dock-side for passenger pickup? What about handling luggage off the ship on our own to expedite the process? Any pros/cons to this? we had friends on our last cruise there that kept their luggange and left the ship with it the next day. As far as I know they had no problems doing that. Since you are leaving the ship early, that might be a good option.
