How far is Sunset Beach from Ochos Rios

We are docking in Ochos Rios but have heard so much about Sunset Beach Resort for the day. Does anyone know how far it is and the best way to get there?? Maybe it is better for those docking in Montego Bay???

Ocho Rios is a good 60 miles from Montego Bay. I've heard cruisers say that it took them a good hour and a half just to get there one way. So going to Sunset is probably not a good option for you since you would be spending a good majority of your valuable port time stuck in a taxi.:(

 

I have heard that Margaritaville in Ocho Rios is really great. They are right on the beach with beach access and they have water toys, a restaurant, pools, and a place to shower too. You might want to look into it. If I were in Ocho Rios, I would probably go there.:)
