mike@sea Posted September 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2008 Estancia San Lorenzo Penguin Reserve and Puna Norte. Has anyone ever done this pretty expensive excursion in Puerto Madryn? Although I can´t book it yet for my Dec 7th Radiance cruise, this one is listed as a possible excursion. Anyone has any experience with this excursion? Is it worth the money ( it is listed as Euro 181 per person ( way over USD 200.- p.p. ) ? What about the pinguin colony at Puna Norte ? Good, or just so so compared to Punta Tombo or Magdalena Island in Punta Arenas. Not too crazy about any of these two tours ( don´t like driving 5 hours in a bus or riding a rotten ferry for 4 hours ) but seeing some penguins probably needs to be part of this whole cruise. The penguins are part of the above mentioned excursion which makes this one interesting. Any suggestions or remarks ? Thank´s for your comments.
