Essence of Montego Bay - excursion

Has anyone done this excursion through Royal Caribbean? $37pp for 4 hours. Seems like it would be a good overview. Is it worth it? I don't want to climb the falls, and would like to see the island since we've never been there before. If we go back there after this stop, I'd probably just spend the day at Margaritaville.

Well, it was a rainy day when we were there last week. Basically, we drove thru Montego Bay to Rose Hall. Didn't go INTO Rose Hall...just to the road leading up to it. Then we went to White Witch Golf Course and spent about 30 minutes there.

 

Next stop was the Shoppes at Rose Hall...another 30 minutes or so.

 

Final stop was some miserable flea-markety type shops with your typical crappy souveniers.

 

Bottom line...not worth it. The golf course was probably the highlight.
