Magic City Cruiser Posted September 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2008 I'm pretty sure this has been addressed so point me in the right direction or kindly save me the trouble of posting again:D . I was just looking at some cruises on Carnival.com. I was looking at December cruises out of Jacksonville, Tampa and Mobile. Now, when you do a search, it pulls up your cruises and they say...."starting at $229.00". I pull up one cruise and the only option I have is over $800.00! And, it's Carnival gty, inside and OV, etc. I found the same thing on the cruises! So, WHERE do you find the "lowest advertised" cost on Carnival.com??? Ken076 Posted September 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2008 Usually this will be for, say a 4-Day Bahamas Cruise with the Sensation, over a period of several months maybe 8 or 16 cruises which vary a lot in price by the date/desirability of the cruise, they take the lowest priced cabin CAT 1A for the cheapest cruise within that group, as their "starting at" which is true, but disappointing. You pretty much have to shop for the cruise-itinerary-port-date-best price comination. ken
