Wondering if there are any snorkel sights a short walk from cruise ship terminal if we should want to go snorkeling some more. Thanks

Nanatravel Posted October 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2008 Most beaches suffered erosian recently from Hurricane Omar. You may want to take a water taxi to Klein Bonaire.

davidnsteph Posted November 12, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2008 We took a ship-sponsored excursion to Klein Bonaire from the Crown Princess 2 years ago. The ferry picked us up at the pier right next to the ship. Easy on, easy off. There was excellent snorkling right next to the beach. Just ask the guides, or look around at where people are snorkling. We did see a lot of jellyfish in the water. They were clear and about as big as a man's fist. We were not stung, but a few other people were stung. It caused itching, like a bee sting. Nanatravel Posted November 14, 2008 #7 Share Posted November 14, 2008 To the Right of the cruise ship pier, walk to the Divi Flamingo. There may be a service charge (our ship had $ posted). It was so hot that after our Aquaspace cruise, we decided to just do a little shopping and return to the ship. Probably by Feb., the vegetation will start to return. Renee will know where to take you for good snorkeling. folks who took a snorkeling tour from the ship, said it was good. Bon Voyage Nanatravel
