78232 Posted September 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2008 We will be at Half Moon Cay in December...I was wondering if anyone has taken the glass bottom boat excursion. ..does the season (winter) affect the amount of fish visable from the boat? I welcome all opinions and experiences. Thanks Marcia
Marie321 Posted September 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2008 We were on the glass bottom boat last December for a New Year's Cruise. Frankly, we were disappointed. We could see things fine. However, my husband is a science teacher. We found that the ladies operating the boat stopped too briefly for good viewing. We always wanted to look longer, but they rushed off. I would not go again. michmike Posted September 7, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2008 was a waste of time.. you'll see more fish if you rent a snorkle and go out at the far left end of the beach (facing the water) along the rocks. I wouldn't waste your money on the gb boat
