Just wondering if anyone just came off the dawn yesterday. I was wondering how it was coming to NY during the storm coming up the east coast with the DAWN.:(

Just wondering if anyone just came off the dawn yesterday. I was wondering how it was coming to NY during the storm coming up the east coast with the DAWN.:(

 

It was a roller coaster ride from 9pm to 3am. Seas were 18-27 feet with some really big ones. The captain closed the outside decks at 8:30pm and told us we were in for a rough night and to be careful.

 

We were in an aft penthouse and the ride is much better there than in a bow penthouse. We have been thru storms like this on the Dawn in a bow penthouse and found the ride better in the stern. We missed the constant pounding of the waves on the bow.

 

We got back to our cabin a little after 12:00am and put out our luggage and got rocked to sleep.

 

It was a beautiful morning as we pulled into NYC and a great cruise
