baileyadog Posted September 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2008 Hello everyone we just returned (9/8) from our Holiday cruise. I plan on writing a review once I am caught up with the pile of work stuff. I have to say we were very pleased with the overall experience. The food was average to good, except the warm chocolate melting cake which was excellent. Service overall was some of the best we have had on any ship we have sailed on. We did notice the size of the ship. It wasn't crowded but we do perfer the larger ships (just a personal thing). Having read the mixed reviews I was very nervous but have to say I really enjoyed the trip. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have as you have all been a huge help to me. blaze5 Posted September 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Great to hear! We are cruising on the Holiday the 18th! I am very excited as this is my first cruise, my hubby is not as excited as he is a beach bum and would rather lay sorry on the beach! But I do hope that he will have some fun! Can't wait to read your review.:)

KimtheCruiser Posted September 9, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 9, 2008 . . . on the Holday our CD was Tory Secoy. She was a ton of fun!:D Thanks! I can't help being a little disappointed - we've had Steve Cassell on the last 2 Holiday cruises, and he was hilarious!! As well as being quite a juggler and fiddle player. I'm sure Tory will be great as well - a new experience!
Yazoo cruiser Posted September 9, 2008 #7 Share Posted September 9, 2008 We just got back on 8/30 and Tory was the C.D. We asked about Steve Cassell and she told us he was on vacation and then was going to the Ecstasy. They were both very good, but Cassell was one of our favorites. MISSSNOOPYGIRL Posted September 9, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Where are you from? Did you fly or drive there? Airfare from Chicago to Mobile is SO EXPENSIVE so we are planning on driving!
