I would love to go to rum point , but it might not fit into our time frame ( since we 'must' do the turtle farm & hell'.

is there a NICE beach we can stop at along the way ( between port & turtle farm) I suppose along 7 mile beach (hmm) that would have SHADE? & easy place to park your car?

( I have read palm trees are few & far between on 7 mile beach near the water).

also need an easy access to park a car & get some lounges & umbrellas? I guess palapas are out of the question.

please...... suggestions needed!

Smith Cove is on the west side and has plenty of shade. Parking is often alongside the road on busy weekend days but during the week you can often pull right in. Unfortunately, there are no umbrellas or loungers at Smith Cove and there is no on-site food option.
