raudacruise Posted September 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2008 We are also doing are first NCL cruise, just after Thanksgiving on Spirit out of NOLA. We have a late flight (3pm) and sure would like to be able to have our luggage taken to the airport for us (for a fee). Did some searching on this and NCL has this BAGS program but its not really promoted. It would be great if they still have it. Plan B is to dump our stuff at Harrahs casino in the morning when we get off and pick the stuff up after we've done a little touring (I promise we will play some while our bags are held hostage in case someone from Harrahs is reading this ;). iceburg1 Posted September 15, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2008 I am not 100% sure but I think if you are disembarking in Miami they will only take your luggage to MIA, not FLL.

cck0000 Posted January 18, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted January 18, 2009 We have returned now from our Jewel cruise, and in case anyone else is interested-- NCL DID offer us the luggage valet program. The service does include both airports MIA and FLL, and many airlines. We chose NOT to utilize it due to the high cost. We found it to be too much for our family of four. The price per bag was reasonable (15$ for the first bag), but it was the additional "participation fee" of $19.99 per passenger that steered us away. Not worth that kind of money in my opinion! We carried our own suitcases off (self-walk off disembark) and upgraded to a larger rental Car (to accommodate luggage.)
