Ok, we have 3 formal nights...are they always "sea days" and how do they choose what days?

It is up to the captain of each ship to decide which nights will be formal. That being said....most formal nights are on sea days since it makes it easier for you to have time to get ready. I have found that "normally" the 3rd sea day is the next to the last night....my assumption is you can still get your pictures taken by the ships' photographer and still have time to buy them the last sailing day.
