gisi102 Posted April 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2004 Hello I recently got married and are going on the NOS next week. I still havent received my marriage license but I do have a notarized marriage certificate. Do you think that would be ok? what did they ask you guys for proof of marriage? My ship documents state both last names. Thanks Gisi

karen_cpa Posted April 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2004 why would you need proof of marriage? is it a name-change issue? just read your post again - the reservation should be booked in whatever name you are legally using as of the date that you sail. for our VOS trip, i booked my reservation in my maiden name, as i have not had the time to update my passport yet. you have to make sure everything agrees, or they can deny you boarding. ss-sunset Posted April 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2004 What name is used for your booking on the NOS? When I booked my honeymoon cruise, I booked in my "maiden" name since I did not have the time to officially change my name yet. Most TA's recommend travelling like this after your wedding.
