Pros and Cons of various Cruise Lines

Princess tends to offer good rates, food, accomodations. RCCL has the best entertainment and service along w/ all the bells and whistles in their new mega ships but do tend to be more expensive. Carnival has bargain prices and more of a party, hardy atmosphere. Their sing-a-long piano bars are fun and the kids on board always seem to be having a great time in the children's programs. Celebrity is a little more formal. It all depends on what you enjoy.

Not to defend cruise_ahoy entirely-- because he has posted copyrighted materials from another website -- but he did say in the first paragraph of his post that the material was taken from another website (but he didn't say which one). Cruise-ahoy was trying to be helpful and all he has gotten is grief.

Here is the website that was quoted: http://cruiselinehistory.com/?page_id=87

It is a fascinating website --even if you don't agree with the descriptions of the current cruise lines.
