OhPinchy Posted September 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2008 I think I saw an interesting thing on here a while back that looked like a waterproof bottle that you could put your valuables in for diving/snorkelling and then you could strap it to you so you don't lose it. I might be doing some snorkelling from a beach with just me and my girlfriend so this would be handy so we don't leave any valuables onshore. I searched but couldn't find it - any ideas on the name of what I'm looking for or where to find it?
MaryPoppinz Posted September 18, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2008 Are you thinking of one of these types of things? http://www.witzprod.com/index.php?cPath=
cruising grandma Posted September 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2008 There are waterproof bags of different sizes at Bass Pro stores......and probably other sporting good stores. They have sizes for cameras, cell phones, etc. Be careful what you put in those hard plastic water wallets........if the seal doesn't hold everything gets wet. (experience with a ruined cell phone) It's not that big a deal if it is just money, credit cards, ship card, but other things need waterproof cases. scubaran Posted September 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2008 Hi, I've had a lot of luck with DryPak cases (http://www.drypakcase.com/). They come in a number of sizes for different items and they're readily available on the internet and in stores (make sure you comparison shop as prices vary greatly).
