Hello:

Just checking to see if anyone is joining us on the Western Coastal cruise out of San Francisco? Only two weeks to go. Hope to here from some of you guys that will be on the "Mercury" April 18. Lets all hope that the Ocean will be calm and beautiful.See you all real soon.

I sailed on the Mercury last fall - you'll really enjoy it, she's a beautiful ship. Be prepared, the waters tend to be a little rough near San Francisco and coming back up the coast, as you're sailing against the Japanese current. Not bad, just not glassy-smooth.

Thanks for the information about the "connections". Yes, we are aware of the seas being a little rough out of San Francisco. We are both retired and decided on this cruise on a last minute basis. I hope we like the "Mercury" as well as you did.

K and W, How did your cruise go? Gretchen and I just booked Mercury to Mexico Dec 6-17.

bobhesse!!! My husband and I have also just booked the Mercury for the Dec. 6-17 Mexican Riviera cruise! This will be our first time with Celebrity, and I hope it lives up to all the great things that the people on this board have said. We have done Carnival 3 times, and once each for RC and Princess. This will also be our first time in a balcony cabin, which I am very excited about. We will have to keep in touch....

Even though the Mercury isn't one of Celebrity's newest ships, it is one of my favorite....it is the perfect size...not too small, not too big and it has a lot of alone time; romantic places on board

You will love the Mercury! We were on the 4/18 Mercury and she is a great ship! The only negative is that our wonderful week ended too soon!
