Fun Pass

My in-laws have gotten their paper documents. We have done e-docs, and have filled in and printed out our Fun Pass online.

 

Do they still need to fill in and print out Fun Passes, since they got paper documents?

 

I asked them today if they'd filled out their Fun Pass (for our cruise this coming Wednesday) and they didn't know what I was talking about.

 

Do i need to make sure they have a Fun Pass filled out online?

We always request paper docs. I do fill out and print the Fun Pass.

Actually all you need is your FunPass and proof of citizenship and c.card to board the ship.... paper docs are not even needed anylonger. FunPass should be done by your inlaws to speed up the process of checking in.

They probably don't have time now to do the Fun Pass. I think it has to be done more than 3 days prior to sailing. Just make sure they fill out all the papers in the documents. Hope all of you have a great trip!

Sooner or later, Carnival will need the information that is asked for when you fill in the Fun Pass.

 

If they don't do it online, they'll need to do it at the pier....which can hold up your boarding process.

 

It only takes a few minutes to fill out the Fun Pass and will save time at the pier. No need to print it out...once it's completed, it is in Carnival's computer.

 

Maybe you can help them with it if they need assistance.

Several embarkation ports security require Funpass or cruise docs to be shown before entering the secured areas of the pier.... I know that you do need to show that FunPass or documents before being allowed past security to park at JAX.

I always do it and print it out as well... But in over 6 cruises, I have yet to have someone ask to see it. But of course the time I don't bring it with me, they'll ask for it.

They asked for our FunPass when checking in for the Freedom in April. Never had them ask before, but we always go prepared just in case.

I received my booking number and went online and in a matter of minutes had everything finished for wife and myself. It is really easy. Printed out two copies of every thing and am ready to sail. Counting the days.:)
