Back from the Miracle! 9/14!

Just home from a GREAT cruise! I am waiting for the pizza man to come and wondering if he will take my sign and sail :confused:

 

I have so much to say but just a few quick things now while I can still think a little bit!

 

Cruise was great and the only complaint was that I had to get off! The weather was wonderful! The seas - WOW!!!! Most of the time I did not even know we were on a ship! I think this was the smoothest sailing I have ever been on! We only had a shower here and there and the weather on the islands hot but not major hot.

 

Food was very good. I am a very plain eater though so I can not comment on most of the dishes besides the beef, chicken and pizza. Warm chocolate melting cake - if you love chocolate then you will love it!!! Sooo good!!! Pizza - LOVED IT! We were late seating the upper floor at table 310. Our wait staff was Elena and Gunawan. Very nice and always made sure we were happy. They sing and dance - corny but I liked it. Had coffee/danish every morning via the little card you put on your door the night before and it was great. Did not do room serivce at all.

 

Room steward - didn't meet him until a few days into the cruise but our room was always cleaned up with the exception of last night which was not a big deal unless I wanted the chocolate mints - which I didn't because they were not that great.

 

Shows - we saw the Welcome show, Ticket to Ride, Talent Show and Carnival Legends show. Enjoyed them all. Did the Galley tour and the Backstage tour. No bingo or casino - I never win so I do not bother.

 

Internet - they do have packages and there were also specials throughout the week if you did not want to buy the package. There were some happy hour specials like 1/2 price on the minutes or buy 10 mins get 10 free. Alin the Internet Manager was very nice and sweet to talk to.

 

Ports

San Juan - we just took a free trolley and stopped at a few stores.

St. Thomas - Sapphire Beach and shopping at Havensight.

Tortola - went to the info center and took a tour of the island for $20.

We went to I think the first talk about the shopping - if you go - sit in the front and he was throwing things into the audience.

 

It was great meeting fellow CC er's and I wish I would have more time to spend with you all!! As far as the other passengers go - most everyone was very nice!!!

 

I am sure there is more but I can't think right now! lol! Feel free to ask questions. I can try and help! It really does stink to be back home!!! BOOO!!!!

hey dolphinmusic, it was a great cruise. the weather was awesome. the islands were great,big sexy and binky were a blast. did you go to the meet&greet? the shows were awesome. did you go to all the shows? was that stevie wonder? we did the self assist off the boat. it only took about 1/2 hour.

Hello! I did go to the meet and greet! :) I did not see the show with Stevie Wonder!! We waited and our # was 24 - I think we were off about 11:45am.
