I have not stayed there, however I live in Miami and can tell you the hotel is right off 57th. Avenue and Blue Lagoon. It is mostly an Industrial/ business area. There is also a Hilton near by (Miami Airport Hilton), there is a Hampton Inn and Suites also close by.

Within a mile (or less) there is a shopping center with a local supermarket, a Burger King, there is also a Mc. Donalds right on NW 7th street and 57th Avenue. (less than a mile), and a CVS as well as a Walgreens.

We just stayed at Homewood Suites and I would recommend it highly! It's in a nice area of Miami with a Publix shopping center close by. We did the Park/Sleep/Cruise package through PARKSLEEPFLY.com and would do it again in a flat second! We left our car there and it was perfect when we returned. They have a fence around the property and 24 hour security so no problems. The rooms are wonderful! I will attach a few pictures of the property for you. The pool is nice but not real big. The breakfast was good. There were scrambled eggs, sausages, french toast, fruit, yogurt, juices and STARBUCKS coffee! We really enjoyed it. There were a lot of pilots staying there. We took a taxi to the port and it was around $25.00 each way. We paid $119.00 for our room and with leaving our car there, we came out way ahead on cost considering parking in Miami Port is $140.00 for a week! You will love this hotel!
