Dolphin Encounters in Costa Maya

I am crusing with HAL to Costa Maya in mid-November 2008. My 10 year old son would really like to go to a dolphin encounter but it doesn't seem to be offered on the shore excursions anymore.

 

Has anyone had experience with a dolphin encounter? Any recommendations? Other ports on the cruise are Belize City and Santo Tomas de Castilla.

I was just looking at the HAL shore excursions for our January cruise, and there is a dolphin encounter listed at Uvero Beach. You might check your shore excursions again and see if they've been updated. (Our cruise had no excursions listed for Costa Maya when I looked a week or so ago.) If you go, please post a review when you return!

Unfortunately this excursion is not offered on my trip. I contacted the place directly and they will not be up and running by then. I was just hoping someone might have another idea for me.

If going to Key West, there might be some dolphin encounters possible.
