Cruisedogs2 Posted October 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2004 What does VIP Check-In mean? Do you get on the ship faster or is the FunPass just as quick? CRUISEDOGS
PINEVIEW01 Posted October 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2004 Always fill out the fun pass. That is needed for homeland security. Than if you have VIP status, go to that area after going thru security. You get to by pass all us grunts with out status:)
CEWayfarer Posted October 29, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2004 This brings up another question... If we are travelling with people that have a suite and get priority boarding, do we get to board WITH them, even though we have a 'regular' cabin? Just curious.... PINEVIEW01 Posted October 29, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 29, 2004 No, you may not. We have been in that situation and have seen others. I traveled with my DD, SIL & DGD and we were in a suite, upgrad fairy. Another couple booked with us and had to go thru regular boarding. Once we saw a family boarding and the irate father could not understand his children, booked in inside room could not have the same treatment. They went thru regular with the children. It has to be that way or else groups could book say 30 room with one VIP and than you end up with everone in VIP line:)
