7Grandma Posted September 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2008 We will be in Punteranus in late Oct. and were wondering if there is any local markets of shopping near the port or do we have to book a tour to get some shopping done? Thanks for the info!
kimiata Posted September 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2008 You definitely don't need to book a shopping tour. We were there last year, and there was a pretty big shopping area just off the pier with lots of vendors selling local crafts. We picked up some really nice wood boxes and placemats. Have fun! maryhou Posted November 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2008 Since you were there do they have any beaches right there?
Cruisedreamer1 Posted November 5, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2008 If you are going to Puerto Corinto, you find wonderful shopping at the port. It was the best and least expensive of our entire Panama Canal Cruise.

It was the best and least expensive of our entire Panama Canal Cruise. Hello, we will be in Puerto Corinto in a couple of weeks. What do you recommend to purchase at the port? Do they have anything there that you can't find anywhere else? We love souvenirs and would want to find someting that's more local. Thanks very much!:)
