Wilda Posted September 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2008 Wow, those are impressive prices! My cruise price just dropped by $400, but still can't compare with those rates for a 10-day itinerary:)
English_in_Spain Posted September 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2008 J.S is now 1049$(same as interior) and bal D1-999$-bal D2-979$-unbelievable for a 10 day Med. cruise....GS were $1099 for a few hrs,-back up to $2999. We just booked the previous cruise on the 20th (to give us a 21 day B2B with the 10th) and got amazing prices with the senior's discount. I think RCI are feeling the financial pinch in the Med and are having trouble filling their ships. For those of us who live in Europe the prices are very low right now. uktraveller Posted September 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2008 Oh..........if only we could just drop everything and go at short notice.....:(
English_in_Spain Posted September 26, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2008 Oh..........if only we could just drop everything and go at short notice.....:( Take a 'sicky' from work and go. Prices (without senior discount) from £320 for 11 nights. We have a D1 balcony (including fuel & taxes) for £750 (with senior discount'. No extras for flights as we are already there on previous cruise. Unfortunately as last minute booking we have to change cabins - at these prices I can live with that. It's not work but kids in school that's stopping us - and no prospect of taking time out during term 'cause it's GCSEs this year! Have a great time on your B2B. In a year or two from now we hope to be able to take advantage of last minute offers!:D
sr4mjc Posted September 26, 2008 #7 Share Posted September 26, 2008 Why oh why is the Nov 22nd Splendour cruise not dropping! I'm so jealous of these prices. Fingers crossed and waiting patiently..
shaymcf Posted September 26, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 26, 2008 I bet that price will drop. I checked all the time and finally ours did. We're sailing Oct. 20 on the Navigator - and the price went down almost $700 US - amazing! Not only that, we moved from a D2 up to a D1. Good luck - and keep checking!
