AmberMarie Posted September 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2008 I'm fairly certain that you cruise is far enough in advance to get a full refund but step 1, in any case, is contacting Carnival or your TA. I think you'll be good, though. Sorry about your loss.

Payd Posted September 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Sorry that you lost your job. You should be able to get your deposit back. Some travel agents do charge a cancellation fee though.
Chigirlcruzin Posted September 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2008 You can get a full refund up to 75 days out from your cruise, minus any TA cancellation fees (if you used a TA, and if your TA even charges a cancel fee). I'm sorry you lost your job. I don't know what field you're in, and I know the job market is rough, but I recommend waiting until that 75 day mark before cancelling. Maybe you'll have found a different (and hopefully better) job by then.
jandjfun Posted September 27, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 27, 2008 You have gotten good advice from the previous posters. You will get your deposit back. I just wanted to add that it always been my experience that when God closes a door, he always opens a window. Use this loss to further yourself elsewhere!
