Marty11 Posted September 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Can I have your thoughts on booking a "Y" cabin on Majesty? What are the lower cabins like for engine noise, etc. say deck 2, 3 if we get placed there? What are the best decks for Ocean View?
GMoney Posted September 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Be mindful of the anchor in forward cabins. :)
karisma99 Posted September 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2008 I spent several cruises on the lower decks (including Majesty), usually mid ship, which was never a problem for us. Other than a few rowdy kids running or some loud talkers cabin crawling late at night, it was perfectly fine. (Which you could get on any deck.) Marty11 Posted September 27, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Anchor!!!???:p :p LOL I guess the best place to be in the ship is higher, and midway. I'm nervous about the "guarantee"staterooms, but booking this late (Oct.20/08 cruise) we don't have much choice to get in at a great price. I guess we'll have to talk it over with the other couple over a cold one! Thanks
TexCruise371 Posted September 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2008 We did a last minute B2B cruise on Majesty in July and were in a OV cabin on deck 3 (3576). Actually liked the location near the elevators. One nice thing about it is that when the elevator gets to that floor...it usually is empty and you don't have to fight the crowds :D
