Getting to the Bayport Terminal

My oldest son works at an Auto Zone on Hwy 146 in Seabook. They have been getting people coming into the store looking for the Bayport Cruise Terminal.

I looked on Carnival's web sight and read their directions. Technically the web site is correct and if you want the "senic route" by all means use them.

Here are directions that may be easier.

From Intercontinental Airport:

Take 45 South through downtown Houston to 610.

Take 610 North to 225 East (to Pasadena)

Take 225 East for 18 miles to 146 South

Take 146 South till the Port Rd. exit (I don't know the mileage but 146 is an overpass over Port, when you see the overpass you should exit before going over it.) There is a sign saying Port Rd. and another sign saying Bayport Continer Terminal.

Turn Left on Port Rd.

Stay on Port to the end and you'll see a sign telling you to turn left into the terminal

From 45 South/Hobby Airport:

When exiting Hobby Airport turn Right.

This is Airport Blvd. Stay on this road.

It will change names to College then to Spencer Higway.

Take it all the way to 146 then turn right (South).

Then follow the above directions to Port Rd.

I think this is a bit more simple. I hope.

We are driving to port from SW Louisiana. What would be the best route? Via I-10

You can get off I-10 at Hwy 146 and go south through Baytown. I think it's exit 796. Its kind of a loop with only a few lights. Just follow Hwy 146 over the ship channel bridge and it should pick up where these directions are at Hwy 146 and 225.

There is a new toll Loop 99 at exit 799 that will take you the same way around Baytown. The tolls are not active yet.

That is the way we always go to that area.

Hi, I found these directions on Mapquest. I will be taking this route for my cruise. I hope these directions will be helpful to you. You can go to the Port of Houston website and get their address, then go to mapquest and pull it up.

I'd suggest West on I-10, exit 146 turn left, exit Port Rd. turn left. Two left turns is about as easy as it can get, well for me it is.
