Inside cabin on fall Jewel to Canada question

We are considering an inside cabin on a 10 day mid-october cruise on the Jewel. Great price. We have done inside a couple of times and have been OK-have not done inside for 10 days (7 days, yes). I assume it will be cold when at sea and quite chilly even when not given the time of year so spending time on deck may be limited.

Looking for thoughts on an inside for so many days, reality of being on deck in mid-october off the Maine and Canadian coasts, and the positives of the Jewel to offset some of the challenges. My DH and I are not fans of hot weather so the cool weather sounds good, but am I hoping for too much?

The balcony price doesn't work for us on this trip. Welcome all thoughts.

Thanks!
