US Customs

Hello there. I am sailing on the Golden Princess and was wondering about the customs process. I know Puerto Rico is a US Territory so, when we clear customs on the ship does that allow us back into Florida? Do we need to go through customs again once we reach Ft Lauderdale Airport? Also, if we are only cleared once we get off the ship, can we still purchase things in San Juan? We have ALL day to kill and were going to go shopping trying to kill time. Thanks for any advice in this matter.

If Puerto Rico is your disembarkation port, you'll go through U.S. Customs there as you get off the ship. Anything you do afterwards is like you're in the U.S. You do not need to go through Customs again.
