How close is the Hard Rock to the pier?

 

Is it safe to walk from the ship to the cafe?

 

 

I have heard a lot of horror stories about Ja, so I just want to be safe.

Once you get to the main street through the port, turn left and it is on the right about 2 blocks. Had no trouble going there Oct 2007.

My DH and I walked to the Hard Rock from the ship this past February. Yes, there are a lot of people trying to get you to take a taxi or buy stuff, but we found that if we said "no thanks" and kept on walking it was safe enough. In all honesty, i probably would not have walked there without my husband though!!
