What are your favorite things to do on the first day of the cruise?

One thing that I enjoy is reading the program for the days activities.:)

After getting something to eat and going to the muster drill, we like to kick back on our balcony with a bottle or two of champagne as we sail away from port.

 

This just might be our favorite time on board. Can't wait, another 6 weeks!!

First thing.... cheeseburger and a DOD. The last two cruises I have had the first cheeseburger off the grill. :D

Unpack and then take the little deck plan book and and walk around to find out where things are - especially the restaurants.

Explore the ship, get a drink, stand out on the bow for sail-away.

Drop my carry on at my cabin.

Stop at the first bar I find for that first Margarita of the trip.

Back to the cabin to unpack.

If leaving from Ft. Lauderdale, and I have a Port side cabin, I sit on my balcony for sailaway (with my 2nd or 3rd Marg) and wave to all the nice people in the houses and apartments who wave and flash their lights in farewell!!

Then on to dinner and the Casino.
