Beach Towels

I've been so many times, but never to just go lie on the beach...This time we plan to do Stone Island on our own so I need to know about beach towels.

 

Did you take the ship's towels off? (if so, are they big ones?)

Bring old ones from home?

 

My thought, which grossed out my daughter (I do that to her LOL) was to go to the Salvation Army or Goodwill and buy some big towels possibly a bit thinner ones and when we're done, just give them to a needy child that no doubt will be nearby.

Just did Stone Island last week on Star. Took ship towels, pretty big. No one said a thing and other two couples there did the same. Ate at Letys... Appetizers, meals, coronas (6), and diet soda(4) all day for 42.00. water was warm, had a great day

I see you'll be on the Sapphire Princess for your Mexico Cruise. You will find that Princess has very nice large beach towels. You can always pick out your fellow Princess cruisers in port as you will see the blue and white striped towels. No need to bring your own. We always just take the towels from the ship. Just be sure to bring them back when you reboard.
