cruzndiz Posted October 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2008 I just cruised NCL for the first time and they have "no assigned seating" for dinner (or any meals for that matter). Now I'm wondering, since my TA didn't ask if I want early or late seating, does Mariner use this Freestyle concept for dining where you can just eat wherever you want, whenever you want, with whomever you want? The answer is YES. Except for a requirement for reservations in Signatures and Lattitudes, the two speciality restaurants. And,of course, within dining room opening hours. Outside those hours room service operates 24 hours per day.
Hambagahle Posted October 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2008 You can make your reservations in Signatures (and I suppose the new "Prime Seven" that replaces Latitudes) on the internet about 2 months ahead of sailing - check this, am not sure about the deadlines! If you go to the RSSC site, and then click on "My cruises" you can establish a password and log on. You can book your excursions (you don't pay until you leave the ship at the end of the cruise for these) as well, four months prior to sailing. You are only allowed to book one evening in each speciality restaurant per suite, though....
