Pool Temperature Question

I'm going on the Destiny in the middle of next month, leaving from Miami. My question is whether the pools are warm enough for swimming during that time of year? I've been telling my DD about swimming on the ship, but maybe if the water temperature is too cold I'll start getting her excited about some other activity. :o

Water will be approximately the same temp [maybe a little warmer] than what you'll find at a California beach on a summer day

The water temp for all pools on the Conquest last week was about 72 - 73 degrees. Not bad at all and really quite refreshing...

I'm pretty sure the temperature of the pool water is the same temperature of the ocean water when the pool is filled, as the pool water is just filtered Ocean water, hense, why the pool water is salt water.

It is a little cool at first but you get used to it quickly.

PLus it will warm up through the day. Remember leaving a kiddie pool in the sun in the summer, how warm it is by the end of the day.

It will be pretty warm yet refreshing. Keep in mind that there are alot of little kids in the pool the water temp may be warmer in some areas LOL

I've only had one experience with the pool. I was on the Liberty in May and the water was freezing. I could hardly stand in there up to my knees, and I was out pretty quickly and didn't try it again. It seems that it's hit or miss, so say it's warm, tolerable, I thought it was way too cold.

Are you saying... that after a couple cocktails... you can care less about shrinkage...? :eek:
