We are going on a Carnival cruise in Dec. is it possible to take more than one bottle of wine onboard if you pay the corkage fee

OPPS, now I see your other post naming Carnival. My comments on your previous post apply. Carnival is one of the lines that prohibits your bringing on board beer and hard stuff....

To answer your question, Carnival allows a couple of bottles of wine to be brought on board. I've never been charged corkage fee of $10, but others have...seems to be up to your waiter.:confused:

Bruceaiken, I have brought wine on board many times without a problem. We drink it in the dining room and pay the corkage fee. We usually pack it in the carry on and our checked bags. We used seal a meal bags on our last cruise for the red wines incase of a breakage. It worked well. We have never been charged for every bottle of wine we brought. Some have slipped thru without a charge. Carla
