JDee Posted October 31, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2004 OPPS, now I see your other post naming Carnival. My comments on your previous post apply. Carnival is one of the lines that prohibits your bringing on board beer and hard stuff....

Cotton Posted November 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 1, 2004 Hi Bruce.:) Welcome to the boards. Since you'll be on a Carnival cruise, come on over to the Carnival board, and you'll get lots of ideas for specific Carnival cruises! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=215&page=1&sort=lastpost&order=&pp=25&daysprune=-1 To answer your question, Carnival allows a couple of bottles of wine to be brought on board. I've never been charged corkage fee of $10, but others have...seems to be up to your waiter.
csteck Posted November 2, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2004 Bruceaiken, I have brought wine on board many times without a problem. We drink it in the dining room and pay the corkage fee. We usually pack it in the carry on and our checked bags. We used seal a meal bags on our last cruise for the red wines incase of a breakage. It worked well. We have never been charged for every bottle of wine we brought. Some have slipped thru without a charge. Carla
