MRSJINX Posted October 14, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted October 14, 2008 It looked like the ferry that brings you over to the Barcardi factory was close to the Pier.... so i guess if you've been to the Barcardi factory you could answer my question. The ferry to Bacardi is the Catano Ferry. Unfortunately, that would not put you close to Pan Am Pier. Unfortunately, you'd still need a taxi. robtulipe Posted October 14, 2008 #7 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Yes the ferry from OSJ goes to the other side of San Juan Bay to the town of Catano. The Pan Am pier is just across the San Antonio Canal, on Isla Grande, from OSJ and there isn't a ferry service to there.
Rare TPKeller Posted October 14, 2008 #8 Share Posted October 14, 2008 That's really too bad, with the late departure of the ships there, I bet they could get a few tourist bucks in OSJ if there were an easy, reliable and cheap way to get there in the afternoon. Once you check in, especially if you are a seasoned cruiser, you might want something else to do until the Muster Drill. :) Theron
