Christmas Decorations

When does RCL start decorating their ships for the holidays? We are on the Serenade the the Saturday right after Thanksgiving.

i was on the explorer last year the sat after thanksgiving and it was all decorated for x-mas. there was a tall beautiful tree on the promenade, just outside the promenade cafe.

Excellent! Thanks for the quick response. Now were they tasteful decorations? I like the decorations to be there but not over the top, don't them to take away from the natural beauty of the ship's interior.

Do they decorate the ship for Thanksgiving?

Goodness...its been since May since I have posted. Whew. I miss everyone. I have had alot going on for sure.

 

My first cruise was last year and it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving and we were a little late boarding as they were decorating. Nothing too late but it was neat. Definatly not over the top. At that point the only christmas tree was in the dining room. It was huge. Kind of reminded me of the old posideon adventure tree that the people climbed on. Ironic I know but it was big. I have a picture my husband took of me next to it and well it looks like the tree is swallowing me up. :D Other than that they had some garlands on the staircases and whatnot. Our sailing was eastern caribbean seven day.

They start decorating on the cruise after the Thanksgiving cruise. The decorations are taken down at the end of the New Year's cruise.
