Jamaica Cruise Excursions

Has anyone had experience using Jamaica Cruise Excursions? I looked at their website and it looked good. We are thinking about the River Rafting and Dunn's River Falls.

The only thing that I don't like is that they let you off at the Island Village and you have to make your own way back to the ship.

Thanks for any help you can give.

that is not good. any tour guide worth anything will wait. They can take you to cheaper places and make sure you are not harassed. Try wentworthtours.com Wentworth was our headwaiter on the Seaward back in the day. He will take you anywhere and also suggest things we don't know about. Our 2st time there was 17 yrs ago and the tour guides are as friendly today as they were then.

We just did the Dunns River and the tubing last week thru jamaicacruiseexcursions.com. We were actually the only 2 people on the tour! Which was fine, made it feel like we had our own personal guide. The only negative is that the river tubing is VERY short. Maybe 20 minutes at most. However, going there is neat since you get to see the 'real' Jamiaca.

We also booked thru cozumelcruiseexcursions.com and did the AI day pass at the Wyndham. That was a great deal-not busy at all, and a very nice resort. I would definitely recommend that!

We did the Dunns River Falls and River Tubing excursion with Island Marketing. We spent at least one hour river tubing down the White River. It was a blast. At one point along the way, we were able to jump off a 15 ft embankment into the water. After the excursion our driver drove us through Fern Gully. When the tour ended we had the option of being dropped off at the pier or at one of the shopping centers--the Taj Mahal or Island Village where Margaritaville is located. We opted to be dropped off at Island Village. It is a short 5-minute walk from the pier and we ended up walking back with many other cruise ship passengers so it was very safe and nothing to worry about. You can see your ship right from the beach at Margaritaville too.
