We will be a group of 5 going to Belize in Nov.

We are interested in snorkeling only and are experienced snorklers. Is there a private company that can take a small group out to the barrier reef rather then going with a large crowd and who would you recomend?

Hello Kathy,

you don't say if you are visiting on a cruise stop or going and staying a few days.

There are several threads through this Belize section on cruise options beside your boat's tours - coral breezes seems to operate with cruise tourists in mind, and you can just go to the dock and see who's there.

If you are going to Belize and staying, it depends on what area you are going to. The Ambergris/San Pedro area is full of businesses that do reef trips in small groups. Do a google search for "Belize snorkel" or "Belize scuba" and you will find a lot of options!
