Honolulu Airport to Downtown

Looking for an inexpensive way to get from Honolulu Airport to Downtown (Executive Center). I know about the shuttles to Waikiki. Haven't found a cost effective way to get downtown. Any definitve ideas?

The Exec Center is in a pretty central location. Cheapest way to get downtown would be the city bus for 2 bucks. Im not exactly sure what is the exact route number but Im certain that the city bus runs from the airport to downtown.
