Payment for Safe on Island Star

Hi all,

I have read on other cruise forums that there is a charge for a safe on the Island Escape, does anyone know if it is the same on the Star.

We were on Star at the end of June.The cost of the safe was £14 for the week,which I think is a lot.

There is a form left on top of the safe for you to fill in stating you want to use it.I filled my form in but the steward never collected it.This might be an oversight by the stewrad or he was being kind as I had tipped him a fiver at the start of the trip.:)

Could be a fiver well spent then, we're on the ship for two weeks.
