Caribbean Venomous Snakes

Just curious if anyone out there has encountered any venomous snakes in the Caribbean? I know there are a few venomous species in the Caribbean. Maybe you have encountered them in the sea, in the jungle, cave tubing...or zip lining?

I'm not looking for the odds of being bitten...just your encounters if any.

Your stories are welcome...Thanks

Cave tubing in Belize, guide stated that someone got bit the week before so stay away from the walls.

snokeling in St. Thomas was saw a sea snake, the guide just had us all stop and let is swim by. The snake seemed very unimpressed with us but we were all a little freaked about it.

Sea snakes are cold blooded reptiles and are found primarily in warm tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific. They are not found in the Atlantic Ocean or Caribbean Sea.
