Hotel Milano

We are leaving on Saturday and staying at the Hotel Milano before our cruise on Adventure of the Seas which departs Sunday evening. It sounds like the hotel is a ways from the Pan Am pier, is that right? Would the best way to get to the hotel and then back to the port be by taxi? This is our first visit to San Juan and we are really excited :D .

Taxis are the best way to get around San Juan. Fares are regulated and very reasonable.

Since this is your first trip to San Juan, I'll give you a little hint about the airport and taxis. When you exit baggage claim, go outside and look for a small stand. It usually has two or three people there handing out "tickets". These are pieces of paper that they write up for you, indicating where you are going , how many bags you have, and the charge. You take this paper and hand it to the next taxi driver. This way, everyone knows the exact cab fare. Enjoy your cruise!
