I am so jazzed we have a bathtub !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a happy cruizer 14 dys of bliss BUBBLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what do you get with while in etc a SS? we have not even had a CC cabin..we are in the upper classlet the info flow...............

You get a butler. He will

-unpack/pack you bags

-bring canapes and snacks in the afternoon

-take your wine to the dining room ahead of time (if you have brought wine from home)

-he will bring you a bowl of fresh fruit that he will replenish every day

-arrange for a party in your room/on your balcony

 

You will get priority check in and priority boarding for any tenders.

 

You get free access to the theraspa pool

 

You get fresh flowers in your room

 

Yes you get tub BUT it it very deep so if you are stepping in or out for the shower it can be tricky, esp. for those with bad knees and less flexibility.

you get REAL ESTATE!!! a bathroom that you can actually manuver in and bend over without banging your head. and more than 12" between bed and dressing table!!!

 

you don't get the CC class breakfast menu - but don't let that stop you. Do a search for the menu on these boards and if something catches your fancy, write it in on your breakfast card. I've not been denied.

 

you get lunch or dinner (from the dining room menu) served in your suite - course by course and not brought all at once if you like. Arrange in the morning with your Butler

 

You get a larger veranda (it's all about the real estate for me) Oh, and there should be cushions on the loungers.

 

You might get an invitation to dine at the Captain or Officer's table and you'll likely get an invitation to 1 or 2 special events for Suite and Elite Level passengers.

Cathy here. Congrats on your upgrade--I had been watching the cabin and saw it disappear!

 

We were in a SS last year. I was really looking forward to the fresh flowers, but none when i got on board. When I asked the 'butler' he said, no those are for Celebrity Suite and above. No, I said, it specifically said I would get flowers. Well, I did--a few stems, but so be it.

 

And :( no invitation to anything special for suite passengers of any kind. We did have a bathtub, a big beautiful balcony, a bottle of champagne when we boarded, we got priority disembarkation in Villefranche (they escorted us right to the tender), the bowl of fresh fruit, canapes (you can ask to have those replaced with a cheese and cracker platter which is probably a good idea and I have heard some people say you can ask for shrimp cocktail--not sure about that part) and they also bring tea and cookies in the afternoon.

 

We didn't ask to have him help unpack but I think they will do it. We asked for extra hangers and a hand held hair dryer--I think that was all!

We also ordered coffee and croissants to be delivered each AM at 7, which we ate on the balcony if it was warm enough--that was my favorite part! You can have your entire breakfast delivered--I just get antsy and want to get out and about!

 

Can you believe less than a week till we meet for drinks in Barcelona?
