air man Posted October 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2008 I think I heard that most cruise lines have lifted their fuel surcharges. can anyone confirm this ?
Lynnees Posted October 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2008 Only RCL and Carnival are working on this at the moment. As far as Carnival is concerned, they have so many variables I think they are just playing with people. RCL does have a plan in mind. Just take a look at their webpage and it's all layed out there. There are several other threads on this so you may want to read some of them and see what others are saying. PS - with Carnival it is all their products. arkking Posted October 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2008 checked the web for RCCL and couldn't find anything on fuel charge ending. Where do I look? Our final pay is due in Nov for Jan 24 on Indy.
Sue L Posted October 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2008 checked the web for RCCL and couldn't find anything on fuel charge ending. Where do I look? Our final pay is due in Nov for Jan 24 on Indy. they are dropping the surchage for cruises booked AFTER November 10th for cruises in 2010. For yours there is a plan in place but you currently have to pay them and if they are refunded you will get on board credit equalling the refund.
