Boy, it's one thing to have a Caribbean cruise yanked out from under you, I'd hate to think that my European cruise was taken away!!:eek:

This makes me sick! We are booked on the Nov. 2009 Med./Transatlantic cruise. We haven't heard anything from our PVP. I quess we'll have to call. Luckily, we haven't booked airline tickets!!:(

This is really a kick in the pants for us. We had the cabins we wanted at a pretty good rate. Now we are going to have to pay 1,000 more and not have the cabins we look for to. But on the bright side we get to travel on the Deam:D

We couldn't be happier. We were booked on an eastern itinerary on the Pride sailing 4/25/09. We do love the Spirit class, however, today we found out from Carnival the Liberty (with 22 bars) is the replacement ship. Same dough, same category room, newer ship. GREAT! :cool:

We too are going from the Pride to the Liberty, on May 9. I'm happy with the switch - it's still the same initerary, and I'll enjoy just about any cruise! :D

 

But I'm curious what will become of our cabin selection - we were booked for an 8I extended balcony on the Pride; the Liberty doesn't offer 8I's. My TA is on top of it, though -- hopefully we'll end up with something just as comparable (or better!) She said it'll probably be a couple of weeks before we know.
